Sportingbet, London, Essex. April 2010 – November 2010
Sportingbet plc is a British e-gaming operator traded on the London Stock Exchange's Alternative Investment Market (AIM). Sportingbet operates local-focused sportsbooks, virtual games, casino sites, and online poker cardroom. The company has over 2.5 million registered customers in 200 countries.
Role: Web Designer
Key responsibilities included:
• Create designs for new campains, and update the website via Perforce, and Finpush (CMS) for 4 countries: UK, Spain, France and Germany)
• Creation, coding, creative, tests and update of marketing email campaigns.
• Provide a "HTML email marketing best practices" document, and a "Photoshop" for the web design team.
• Organise in-house trainings (3D, photoshop, Email marketing)
• Create graphic assets for the Web team
Key achievements included:
Knowledge of a new CMS system (Perforce), working with tight deadlines, full workload management via Numara Footprints, working with projects involving many people in different countries.
Flying Brands, Chelmsford, Essex. October 2009 – April 2010
Flying Brands is a publicly quoted mail order Group consisting of the following brands: Flying Flowers, Gardening Direct, Garden Bird Supplies, Listen2 (CD's and DVD's), Benham (collectable).
Role: Online Marketing Assistant, Graphic/Web/Email Designer
Key responsibilities included:
• Email campains: Creative, HTML and CSS coding testing process and sending marketing emails for the 5 brands of the company (1 million online customers). I was in charge of getting the data and analyse with the marketing team, analyse of spam rating (through Subscribe, online tool).
• Graphic designs, photo modification, website banners, flash animations.
• Website amends and design ( via Demandware), Online catalogue updates (Adobe Scene7) and also creative banners for the affiliates (JPG and animated GIF).
Key achievements included:
Worked in one of the busiest time of the year for the company (Christmas time, Mother's Day, Valentine's Day). Significant increase of the sales for email marketing.
Good notion of marketing strategies, SEO, pay-per-click, email delivery rate, spam rating and tracking.
CreativeI and Personal project, Braintree, Essex April 2009 – October 2009
I have worked for free to improve my portfolio and my skills by working with a web design company based in Braintree.
My main role was to provide flash banners, logos and webproofs. (My latest website is available at www.fanjan.com)
I have also started my own project to manufacture and sell custom bike parts.
I have developed the parts, with 3D modelling softwares, programmation with CNC machines, and I am actually finalising the website and the business plan. (see

CMJ Mould Tools Ltd., Braintree, Essex. April 2007 – April 2009
This is an established tool and mould making firm, which uses state of the art CAD /CAM software. They specialise in high pressure aluminium die-casting tools, plastic injection and blow mould tools as well as precision machining.
Role: 3D CAD/CAM Designer
Key responsibilities included:
• 3D CAD Designer/Modeller (Powershape, Solidworks)
• CAM (Depocam, EZcam)
• CNC programmer/operator/setter on Heidenhain control (3axis) and Fanuc control (3axis)
• Providing full IT support to the whole company including network diagnostics and repair

Nurbs is a Graphic Design company, specialising on 3D graphics animations, Video editing, and video effects.

3athlon cycles, France Nov 2001 – Jul 2005
3athlon was the biggest professional bike shop in the region.
We managed a team of champions in different bike categories (bmx, road, downhill) in national and international competitions.
Key responsibilities included:
• Management of the shop, stock control, database on a daily basis
• Cashier duties
• Helpdesk and advices for customers
• E-commerce: design and management of emails shot for a large database.
• Maintenance of the computer network and the company website

• Directly influencing the increase in sales through my marketing strategies. Actual figures recorded +6% growth per year
I did a design for bikes (the bikes has been sold during Christmas) and has been a big part of the revenues of the company for that period.
I was in charge of the website during 4 years. More that 40% of our customers were subscribed to our newsletter, that I was in charge.
I developed an excellent contact with customers.
